He may only be a young pup,

But basic training’s within reach.

With treats and patience, time to teach,

It’s expected that he’ll act up;

His love’s a drink that fills your cup.

Soon, he responds to all commands;

His passion’s meeting your demands.

Smart as a whip, willing to learn,

Don’t lay off the gas and stay stern;

He’ll sit, roll over, and shake hands.
