Do I believe in ghosts?
How exactly can you not?
I bravely barked at something by the backyard posts;
Do I believe in ghosts?
Dad looked, you’re gone, and must think we’re terrible hosts,
Now I’m waiting for a devil’s kiss, my stomach’s in a knot.
Do I believe in ghosts?
How exactly can you not?

This is good fun. I believe ghosts a real in some form or other. Dogs definitely bark at things we can’t see and I definitely felt something unseen in my birth home.

Wonderful poem! Dogs do have that special vision we don’t.
