When I’m outside and it’s sunny,
This fawn coat of mine comes alive.
Not just brown, there’s shades, like five;
From chocolate to golden honey,
Tons of contrast, nothing’s runny.
This beautiful fawn coat of mine;
Soft as velvet, to touch divine.
Following the dreaded bath time,
Washing away the week’s worth of grime;
Each strand of fur like silken twine.

Beautiful poem and a beautiful-sounding dog, too! ❤
